Q1 2023

My wrap-up post for Q1 has been a bit delayed due to being so busy, but here’s the highlights:

• I sold a few packs of Situation Cards.

• I sold a few coaching sessions.

• I started working with a pre-seed AI startup as a fractional CTO ( https://waipify.com/ )

• I helped a very technical startup with their marketing work to help explain the product

• I developed and delivered workshops on C4 architecture diagrams. ( https://buildingbetterteams.de/diagram-your-architecture )

  • Delivered to multiple customers multiple times.

  • “Productized” into a standard offering I can market and sell.

  • Slow organic demand for this workshop is growing, and I haven’t begun marketing it.

  • Could fit into a larger program I have in mind, “decoupling teams“, which would replace the “Architecture“ workshop concept I thought I would offer back in Q3 2022.

• Developed and launched (a bit later in April) https://prodduck.buildingbetterteams.de/ which helps provide focused feedback on developer tickets.

• No longer working on https://async.buildingbetterteams.de/ because there is no demand.

• Social proof Videos — I wanted to produce more of these but there wasn’t enough time for it. I bought a desktop camera mount to record some drawing of diagrams.

• I think I finally got my accounting topics solved. All my books are now kept in lexoffice. I had to learn a number of tax rules and invoicing rules that sound simple but are full of minor nuanced edge-cases.

My laptop is getting really shaky. Some of the video chips start to over-heat. I think I’ll need to replace it soon which probably means a few days of set-up.
